As a graduate of RMIT - Bachelor of Games & Graphics Programming, John combined his passion of technology and education to develop a range of early childhood learning solutions.

Every learning management system has some common and some unique features. LMS providers keep on creating new add-on modules to promote their LMS. Corporate training keeps on purchasing these add-on modules, but as a training manager do you know what are all the features your LMS has? If you are aware of any new feature do you know how to use it?

  1. As you know almost every LMS has multilingual feature which is very useful to the learner. You may or may not know that it is possible to set the default language to each user account.

64% Rate Effort Required to Administer Learning “High”?

Richard Nantel recently presented a session titled “How to Manage Large Scale Learning Initiatives Painlessly” for HR.com’s Technology Enabled Learning virtual conference. 

The session began with the following poll questions: How would you rate the effort required to administer learning?

  • A: High
  • B: Moderate
  • C: Low

A full 64 per cent of attendees rated the effort as “High.” Thirty-six per cent rated the effort as “Moderate.” No one rated the effort as “Low.” Learning management systems are meant to make the administration of learning easy and efficient.

Moodle Abandons Support For SCORM 2004
